How to register for your modules

You register for your modules using MySIS, just log in as normal and select the 'module registration' option from the left hand side. You must complete module registration by the specified deadline, which your school will inform you of.

All of your core or compulsory modules will have already been pre-selected for you and they cannot be changed.

Pre-selection

When you come to select the elective modules that you want to take you'll notice that each module has a module description page that you can read in the bottom-right corner. Once you've read through all of the descriptions you'll be ready to make your choices by selecting your chosen modules from the lists on the left-hand side. You will have an opportunity to send comments to your School or Institute if you want to about the choices you have made as you are selecting your modules.

What happens next

Once you have selected all of your elective modules your choices will be sent to your School or Institute for approval (e.g. they will make sure that there aren't any timetable clashes and your modules are balanced for each semester).

All of your selections must be confirmed and approved by your School or Institute by the specified deadline and the final outcome of your choices will be confirmed to you by email.  Schools and Institutions can also reject your selections. If they do this you will receive an email and you will be able to re-select.

Please note that all modules have a limited number of places and priority is given to students who are required to take them for their programmes, so it is important that you choose your electives and complete module registration as soon as possible.
