The Alumni Extra card enables alumni to access our Mile End, Whitechapel and West Smithfield libraries for reference purposes only (alumni can visit the libraries in person and read the books/study there). However, this doesn’t include borrowing rights or access to electronic resources such as the online library or online library resources such as databases and e-journals. Apply for an Alumni Extra Card online. You can either call into the Development and Alumni Directorate in Room E116 on the first floor of the Queens’ Building (between the hours of 2-4pm, Monday to Friday) where they will process your card there and then.
Alternatively, you can fill in an online form. Once you have completed the online form, please email the Alumni office with a passport-style photograph of yourself, your student id number and an up-to-date postal address at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Once all of this have been received, the Alumni office will process your card and have it sent out to you.
Please note, there is a £10 replacement charge if you lose your card.
