Information for staff supervising the research degree students
This page contains essential information and forms for staff involved in the supervision of research degree students. You should read this page in conjunction with the Academic Regulations 2022/23 [PDF 1,549KB] and Code of Practice 2022-23 [PDF 392KB] where you will find the regulations pertaining to research degrees and the responsibilities of supervisors and Directors of Graduate Studies. The requirements for research degrees (MPhil, PhD, MD(Res), DrPS and DClinDent) are set out in Appendix 1 of the Academic Regulations. All students are required to be familiar with the College’s and Procedures, and should be directed to our research ethics page if it is at all possible that their research will require ethical approval.
